We follow the Duval County Public School calendar. We are closed any holidays or weather days that Duval County Public Schools are closed.

Our school year begins in August and continues through some of May, for 171 days.  We  open for Summer Camp the week immediately after the end of the "school year" and go through most of July.  See the Summer Camp tab for more details.    

enrichment care

One of the many things that sets Lakewood United Methodist Preschool apart is our Enrichment Care.  We offer additional Enrichment Care on any Public School Teacher Planning days.  Children 2 and over are charged a flat rate of $25 / day of their current schedule, one year olds cost $40 / day, and infants are $60/day for enrichment care.  Enrichment Care is tailored to teacher schedules, but it is available to every LUMP family.  Older siblings and alumni are always welcome on Enrichment Care days.
